INDEX concrete screws with ATLANTIS coating
Concrete screw fixing, without adhesive curing time
INDEX concrete screws with ATLANTIS coating – for contractors, installation companies and industrial buyers.
Keep the installation moving: choose the concrete screw that suits your application and fixes directly into the pre-drilled concrete. Request a quote from Menet-Trend for the version and quantity you need.
Don’t have the exact size yet? Describe the fixing task and ask for help with the selection.

Linked to type and size
When fixing takes more organising than you would like
A bracket, a mounting rail, then the next fixing point. Installation runs smoothly when you know in advance which fastener, tool and work process it requires.
If the chosen system involves a curing time, it has to be built into the schedule. If it only turns out on site that the screw length or head form is wrong, another round of coordination and purchasing may follow.
That is why it is worth stating the installation task, the thickness of the part to be fixed and the environment together, already in the quote request. That way the purchase is based on the actual task.
What does a concrete screw add to the workflow?
Direct thread engagement in the concrete
The special thread bites into the wall of the pre-drilled hole. No separate anchor or adhesive is needed for the fixing. The concrete screw is a low-expansion solution; the permitted edge and spacing distances must still be observed.

Installation overview in three steps
Drilling.
Follow the hole diameter and hole depth specified for the selected screw.
Hole preparation and setting.
Treatment and any necessary cleaning of the hole, as well as the tool and its setting, are defined by the manufacturer’s installation instructions.
Checking.
Check for proper seating and the specified embedment depth.
This overview does not replace the product’s installation instructions.
What kind of work is it worth considering for?
Brackets and supports, shelving and racking systems, timber-to-concrete connections, railings and temporary installation solutions. Suitability is always decided by the load and the documentation of the specific product.

Look at data you can base a decision on
A product name alone is not enough for a good choice. For the ATLANTIS-coated versions of the INDEX TH family, the manufacturer provides technical data sheets, ETA documents, a declaration of performance and installation information.
Manufacturer documents
What does ETA Option 1 mean?
An ETA is a European Technical Assessment. The Option 1 designation indicates an assessment scope covering cracked and non-cracked concrete. The usable sizes, loads and installation conditions are set out in the specific ETA; these must be checked for the fixing task at hand.
For load-bearing fixings, proper design is also part of the selection. A product family’s designation does not mean that every size is suitable for every application.

ATLANTIS C3-H: corrosion protection to suit the environment
ATLANTIS is a corrosion-protective coating applied to the surface of the steel concrete screw. For the THA version, the manufacturer describes protection specified for a C3 atmospheric environment. The coating does not make the screw stainless steel.
For outdoor work, please therefore describe the expected exposure to moisture and any chemical or salty environment. On that basis it can be checked whether the coated version is suitable or a fastener of another material is needed.

Worth requesting together for the selected product
- Exact item number and technical data sheet.
- The ETA and declaration of performance covering the application.
- Installation instructions and the data needed for design.
That way the decision is based on the selected product and the actual use.
Which concrete screw suits the task?
Start with the connection: what are you fixing, what surface does the head have to bear on, and how much room is left for the tool?

The right length takes more data than the plate thickness
State the thickness of the part to be fixed, as well as every intermediate layer or gap. The screw length and the applicable embedment depth must be selected from the specific product’s table. The required hole depth is a separate figure.

Concrete screw, expansion anchor or chemical fixing?
Not sure which to choose? Describe the task in your quote request rather than just giving an estimated screw size.
Worth clarifying before you order
How much does a concrete screw cost?
Request a quote for the selected size, version and quantity. To help plan the purchase, please also state the required delivery date. That way you can weigh the product price and availability together with your own requirements.
Does it need a separate anchor or adhesive?
The concrete screw fixes directly into the pre-drilled concrete; a separate anchor or adhesive is not part of this fixing method. Correct drilling and installation as specified, however, are essential.

Can it be used in cracked concrete?
The manufacturer offers TH versions assessed for this. The conditions for the selected size and installation must be checked on the basis of the ETA and the design.

Can it be reused after unscrewing?
Removability and reusability are two separate questions. Re-installation can only be considered if the manufacturer’s conditions given for the specific product are met; being removable does not in itself mean unlimited reuse.
Is the ATLANTIS coating suitable outdoors?
Suitability depends on the actual environment. In your quote request, please indicate if the fixing may be exposed to rain, persistent moisture, salt or chemicals. The C3-H designation alone does not imply suitability for every outdoor application.

Can I use it at small edge distances?
Only if the permitted distances and structural conditions are observed. The way a concrete screw works does not remove the need to check the edge distance, the spacing between fixings and the concrete thickness.

I don’t know the exact item number yet. Can I request a quote?
Yes. Describe what you want to fix and what data you have available. Menet-Trend’s team will help you agree on the product selection.
