WEH has developed a NONOX stainless and acid-resistant quick coupling suitable for filling, function-testing and leak-testing closed cooling systems.
The TW141 type connects easily to straight tubes, in NONOX stainless or acid-resistant versions – without any screwing. For applications where the tubes are difficult to reach for some reason – heat exchangers, for example – an extended version of the TW141 is available.
The TW141, in NONOX stainless or acid-resistant versions, is an indispensable tool particularly during automated testing, for example when manufacturing tubes or heat exchangers. Tubes with an outside diameter between 3.5 and 22 mm can easily be tested with it, from vacuum up to 100 bar. The TW141 quick coupling is connected simply with one hand by pressing the lever down, with no need for alignment. The lever control eliminates the lateral force that arises when screwing threaded connectors together or when rotating switch-operated connectors, which would bend the tube.
Once the pressure-tight connection has been made, the test medium can be delivered and the filling, function or leak test can begin.
