# What the NONOX brand stands for ## Which products can be found in the NONOX product range? A wide selection of joining and fastening components made of corrosion-resistant steel, such as screws, nuts, washers, rivets, wall plugs, toggle latches, wire ropes, chains, marine fittings and their accessories, etc. ## What are the common features of these products? ### 1 In terms of their base material: - state-of-the-art steel alloys, generally with an austenitic microstructure - they comply with international standards and are widely used all over the world - as a rule, they are far more resistant to aggressive liquids, vapours and gases than other types of steel - they can be welded and polished - they can be used in the food industry and meet the relevant food-industry requirements - regulations worldwide also govern their use in the chemical industry, the energy industry, healthcare, etc. ### 2 The NONOX products themselves: - are produced with very high-level manufacturing technology and continuous quality control - the quality-assurance chain extends from raw-material production all the way to use - their service life is far longer than that of comparable carbon-steel, surface-treated products - although their mechanical and application properties differ, their strength approaches, and in very many cases exceeds, the strength values of the most commonly used comparable carbon-steel products - thanks to their advantageous properties they are increasingly widespread in the construction industry: - outdoors for their weather resistance, high load capacity and service life, - indoors, in addition to the above, also for their aesthetic appearance suited to contemporary taste - they are also used with preference in the instrument industry, because certain of their alloys have non-magnetic properties - stainless structural work is simply inconceivable without the use of suitable stainless-steel fasteners and accessories, since these materials cannot be used mixed with carbon steels ![NONOX logo](https://menet-trend.hu/wp-content/uploads/menet-trend/nonox-logo-fenyelt.png) --- HTML:
