The PC 18-65 works with Metabo CAS (Cordless Alliance System) batteries. This is a professional 18 V battery platform that more than 30 manufacturers now use in common. The essence: one battery – several brands – several hundred machines. That is why in this article we refer simply to a CAS battery, since the system is fully standardised and of industrial quality. ## Comparison with everyday power banks ### How does a CAS battery hold up against conventional power banks? The power banks available in shops typically have a capacity of 10,000–20,000 mAh, which sounds like a lot at first, but it is important to understand that these are meant in a 5 volt system.
